Wilbur Wilde first rose to fame as a saxophonist with the great Aussie rock bands OL’ 55 and Jo Jo Zep and the Falcons. Over the years he has performed and recorded with some of the biggest names in the music industry including Skyhooks, Elvis Costello, Tom Jones, Split Enz, Roy Orbison, Cold Chisel, Dire Straits, the Angels, Dragon, James Reyne and Jimmy Barnes.

Wilbur instantly became a household name as the resident saxophone player/comedian/nuisance on the phenomenally popular TV show Hey Hey Its Saturday. Since then he has made a number of guest appearances on shows such as The Flying Doctors, MDA, The Paul Hogan Show, Blankety Blanks, Sale of the Century, Celebrity Squares, MTV, Getaway, Postcards and Spicks and Specks.

On-screen, Wilbur has had roles in Mad Max 1, Coolangatta Gold, Dead End Drive-In and in theatre in the groundbreaking production of The Rocky Horror Picture Show in the mid-1990s. Coupling a huge personality, well-honed sense of humour and a contact list the envy of Richard Wilkins, Wilbur has also had a long career as a radio presenter on numerous Melbourne stations, most recently as Drive host on Vega 91.5.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT BOOKING FOR AN EVENT - PLEASE READ:

All event tickets can only be purchased directly through our website, which will automatically allocate you a table in the restaurant, and will email you a booking confirmation / tax invoice. Please ensure your email address is correct to ensure you receive your tickets (which is also your booking confirmation).

Simply add tickets to your cart below and follow directions to payment. Our booking site is owned and managed by us, and is security encrypted by STRIPE to ensure the safety of your information. Please note that we do NOT keep or store your credit card details.

All bookings are subject to an online booking fee of $3 per person, which is the cost we are charged by the secure payment portal gateway to manage your payment.

TERMS, FEES & CONDITIONS OF YOUR BOOKING - PLEASE READ:

Your event booking includes a table booking in our restaurant, which is in the same space as the event. If you would like to get in contact with us about your booking (such as group seating) please email us at functions@arcobar.com.au and quote booking number(s). Arcobar reserves the right to seat Single Booking purchases onto a group or communal table.

In the event of an artist cancellation, we will always try and reschedule the event to another date in the first instance. We will advise you of any changes in writing (to the email address provided by you with your booking), and automatically move your booking to the rescheduled date. If you are unable to attend a rescheduled event, we will provide you with an Arcobar credit note, which is valid for any other event, or for dining at our venue. If we are unable to reschedule an event, we will provide you with a refund.

If you are no longer able to attend an event, we can provide you with an Arcobar credit note, on the condition that we are advised in writing at least 7 days prior. The email address to contact us is functions@arcobar.com.au - please note that we do not offer refunds because you are not able to attend a scheduled event. We are not able to offer any credit if we are not notified in writing within 7 days of the scheduled event.

The value of the Arcobar credit note provided to you excludes the $3 online booking fee (charged by this ticket booking platform). PLEASE NOTE that there is also a $5.50 ticketing administration fee, which is the cost incurred by us to cancel or change a booking within the secure payment portal gateway.

Tickets are transferable into another person's name (for the same event). Please advise us in writing if you wish to transfer your booking into someone else's name. If you are unable to book online and require telephone assistance, we are happy to help you, however, the booking fee is still applicable. Telephone assistance is available Monday to Friday from 10am to 4pm on 9551 1424 (option 2).

Arcobar does not allow reselling of tickets via any social media platform. We strongly advise against purchasing tickets from any other site or person claiming to have tickets for sale. Do not buy tickets from scammers. Arcobar does all it can to block and remove scammers, but unfortunately some still manage to penetrate the system.
