The song master of pub-rock band 'WEDDINGS, PARTIES, ANYTHING' is joining us at arcobar to perform songs from his expansive career and more!

Arcobar welcomes the brilliant Mick Thomas & The Roving Commission for an exclusive Dinner & Show event - with an award winning Two-Course Meal.

Thirteen - unlucky for some but that’s the number of the last run of shows for Mick Thomas’ Roving Commission to top of what has been a stella year. Putting the complications and vagaries of covid behind them Mick and the band weighed into the year full of inspiration and optimism.

The album Where Only Memory Can Find You came out in May on Coolin’ By Sound Records and due to a committed and reinvigorated fan base managed to make a nice little dent in the ARIA Charts peaking at #5 for the Australian releases and a respectable #33 nationally. The AIR Charts were an entirely different affair with the album coming in at #1 no less! The graphic novel entitled Away Away - Rudi’s Story was a welcome accompaniment to the album and quickly became a firm favourite with the fans. The band’s Merch desk at live shows was a busy one this year.

The subsequent National Tour in support of the album was a strong one with Mick and Jen Anderson leaving days after it finished to begin a tour of the UK including an appearance at Glastonbury on Billy Bragg’s Left Field Stage where they duetted with the man himself on a co-write between Mick and Billy.

Returning home it was straight back out on the road for a bunch of dates with their long time road buddies The Waifs - where the band ended up on-stage each night closing the show with a joint version of the Lowest of the Low tune Rosy and Grey.

So with thirteen dates left Mick and the band are set to put the finishing touches on the year as they get around the country with a whole swathe of support acts - both old and new.

All event tickets can only be purchased directly through our website, which will automatically allocate you a table in the restaurant, and will email you a booking confirmation / tax invoice. Please ensure your email address is correct to ensure you receive your tickets (which is also your booking confirmation).

Simply add tickets to your cart below and follow directions to payment. Our booking site is owned and managed by us, and is security encrypted by STRIPE to ensure the safety of your information. Please note that we do NOT keep or store your credit card details.

All bookings are subject to an online booking fee of $3 per person, which is the cost we are charged by the secure payment portal gateway to manage your payment.

TERMS, FEES & CONDITIONS OF YOUR BOOKING - PLEASE READ:

Your event booking includes a table booking in our restaurant, which is in the same space as the event. If you would like to get in contact with us about your booking (such as group seating) please email us at functions@arcobar.com.au and quote booking number(s). Arcobar reserves the right to seat Single Booking purchases onto a group or communal table.

In the event of an artist cancellation, we will automatically move your booking to the rescheduled date or credit your ticket upon request. If you are unable to attend your event, please note that we are happy to offer a credit of the ticket amount (excluding the $3 online booking fee). PLEASE NOTE that there is a $5.50 ticketing administration fee, which is the fee we are charged by the secure payment portal gateway to change or cancel a booking.

Please note that we are ONLY able to provide a credit if we are advised at least 48 hours prior in writing to functions@arcobar.com.au and do not offer refunds. We are not able to offer any credit if we are not notified in writing within 48 hours of the time of the event.

Tickets are transferable into another person's name (for the same event). Please advise us in writing if you wish to transfer your booking into someone else's name. If you are unable to book online and require telephone assistance, we are happy to help you, however, the booking fee is still applicable. Telephone assistance is available Monday to Friday from 10am to 4pm on 9551 1424 (option 2).

Arcobar does not allow reselling of tickets via any social media platform. We strongly advise against purchasing tickets from any other site or person claiming to have tickets for sale. Do not buy tickets from scammers. Arcobar does all it can to block and remove scammers, but unfortunately some still manage to penetrate the system.
